IT IS SAID THAT BIKERS HAVE BIG HEARTS...
The Ride to The Wall - Southern Style is NOT a profit making ride. All excess funds left over after paying all the bills for hotels, fuel, food, etc. are donated to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization founded as a means of providing college grants and financial assistance for surviving spouses and children of United States service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Participants and organizers from the 2008 Ride to the Wall - Southern Style donated a total of $4,200.00 to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund. Our goal in 2009 is to donate in excess of $5,000! Join us for the 2009 Ride to the Wall over the Memorial Day weekend!

WHY WE RIDE
The story behind this ride is not complex yet it is full of emotions. Read this piece of prose by a fellow rider and you will better understand the reason for The Ride to The Wall.
REGISTERED RIDERS
In 2008, over 150 riders left Destination Daytona heading for our nation's capitol. Here you can find a listing updated weekly of all this riders who have already committed to ride to The Wall in 2009.
POLICE ESCORT & RIDE CAPTAINS
This ride is escorted by members of the Iredell County, North Carolina Sheriff's Office and the Wilkesboro, North Carolina Police Department all the way from Florida to Virginia. Meet our escorts and our Road Captains here.

NEW for 2009! Join us for the Ride to The Wall and ride the Auto Train back to Florida! In 2008 it was an all night rolling party from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL.
