The 2008 Ride to The Wall was escorted by four members of the Iredell County, North Carolina Sheriff's Offices all the way from Florida to Virginia. For the 2009 Ride to The Wall, that number will expand to six certified police officers. In addition, we will be escorted by members of the Lake County and Volusia County Sheriff's Offices in Florida, the Chatham County Sheriff's Office in Georgia, the Mecklenberg County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina, and officers form the State Patrol in Virginia and North Carolina.

Also in the plans for the 2009 Ride to The Wall are a group of "Ride Captains"to be named before the ride begins in 2009. Meet our escorts and our Road Captains here. A pair of Road Captains will be stationed through the group about every 40 bikes to assist the escort officers during lane changes, exiting from parking lots, etc.
